As an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor we are looking to strengthen our highly skilled teams that operate throughout the UK.

 

Built on the solid foundations of our biomass facility, we provide arboriculture services in the North-West of England and Wales to a diverse array of organisations, from small landowners to local authorities and major organisations.

 

We operate cutting edge equipment and machinery which includes new Isuzu tippers that tow Forst TR8 and TR6 chippers and a whole host of other machinery including a Musmax with a 24" feed, Valtra tractor, MEWPs and a lot more, working smart to mechanise our jobs.

 

About the job

What we are looking for:

We are looking to find a number of highly skilled 2nd Climber arborists to join our expanding teams. As an Arb approved contractor that operates in the North-West with a number of long-term and sustainable contracts, we aim to recruit passionate candidates who would relish the opportunity to showcase their skills and progress further.

 

Our employees enjoy a much-varied workload from technical pruning for local council/commercial/domestic clients to large scale sites.

 

Your daily duties as a second climber will be:

Undertaking Arboricultural operations to a high standard

Working with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of contracts

Liaising with Team Leaders and Management

Liaise with clients to ensure customer satisfaction

Ensuring HSE compliance

Working hours are between

6.30am - 5.30pm during March - September

7.00am – 5.00pm during October – February

Overtime available with one weekend day per month required to be worked.

 

Current posts are based from our Sandycroft Head Office, near Chester.

 

Salary: £29,000-£32,000 per year

Tool allowance: £2,650 per year

Holidays: 31 days

Preferred Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

• Full UK driving license

• CS 30,31,38, 39

• Chapter 8

• First Aid Certificate

• Chipper qualification

• MEWP qualification
