Hi,

I have acquired some of these logs from a friend and I would like to know what they are please, if that is not possible, please may you tell me if they are hardwood or softwood.

They don't have a strong smell to them, I think it is around 40 years old, the wood is quite a light colour. The inside of the bark is orange/brown. The tree was located in a field.

Thanks very much!
