Hi, have been given an echo 650EVL chainsaw but it needs a new bar and chain. Current bar is 20” with 5/8 x 70 DL on chain

anyone recommend a bar and chain replacement, is 70 DL common or could it be changed to a different bar and chain

thanks in advance

My 20" bars are 72 drive links so 70 looks uncommon - but the important thing is to count your chain that fits because 70 absolutely could be right.

I didn't find the saw on most of the usual chain suppliers, I would suggest to contact either chainsawbars.co.uk or skylandequipment.com as they both have Echo spares and may have a parts catalog for the saw. Likely to need to wait till Jan for an answer of course.
