Husky technical trousers

Anyone know if these are thorn-proof?

I could do with something cooler but thorn-proof for hedgelaying. I'm doing a lot of very tangled blackthorn and bullace hedge at the moment which is hot work but it's mostly small stuff with very little chainsaw work involved and I could do with some lighter trousers, but it they're not thorn-proof they'll get destroyed. Got some Francital type A with thorn-proof panels on the legs which are excellent but hot.

If they're anything like the very similar 5-year old Husky Brushcutter trousers I'm wearing now they're barely light proof yet alone thorn proof so I'd say an emphatic no.

The most padded part, the shin, is about half the thickness of the lightest chainsaw trouser I've ever worn; it would take the sting out of a strimmer line but Blackthorn would go straight through it - and that's just the shin remember.

I actually wear these as summer non-chainsaw trousers for their light weight and coolness
