Anyone used/tried one of these? It's an animal! had a play as came with the old/dead fuel issues so had carb to bits & fettled plus picked up a "New" oe carb for it for £50 posted!

Have Stihl square 3mm string on T55 head modded guard/skirt with the trusty Leatherman Charge XTI(Saw/wavey blade etc)so string misses edge of it now so had it running with a foot either side of head! Devastation to all and sundry Sedge grass where?

Funny thing is it's dam heavy but don't feel it/any of it when using unlike others that are lighter but pants!

Mind it does like a drop of the 99oct green(Stihl syn 2t oil)Monkey juice.

You should try the 555FRM, it destroys everything in its path. As for running with no guard i just despair with you, sllipping clutches, overheating etc etc.

I don't get slipping clutches or over heating . Sometimes get covered in fox doo doo though 😔

I'll probably get a 555 RXT when my Kawasaki falls apart for good, which will be this winter I reckon. Handlebar clamp design is shocking and as they're manufactured in China the components are made of chocolate as well.

I broke a guard shredding self-seeded hawthorn saplings using an Oregon tri-point mulching blade. Tried to press on without a guard but my legs were beaten black and blue by wood shrapnel, even through chainsaw trousers. Never again.
