Successfully Delivering Tree Planting

A joint event from LISW Branch and Arboricultural Association Cornwall Branch, looking at successfully delivering tree planting.

About this event

Trees are an integral component of urban spaces and wider landscape. A collaborative approach to the planning, design, planting and management of trees will ultimately provide the greatest social, environmental and economic benefits. The speakers today will highlight the important contribution of trees at both a strategic and local level, including the benefits of professional and community collaboration.

This event looks at various aspects related to successful delivery of tree planting, for long-term success and resilience. We will cover aspects from strategic to local to technical considerations, with the success ultimately depending on successful cross-professional and private / public sector collaboration. Content will be relevant for all involved in the design and specification process for tree planting, including engineers, architects, landscape architects, arboricultural specialists, local authority officers and private developers.

This event is run as a hybrid event with a virtual part from 10am-12.30pm and a site visit in Plymouth from 3-5pm. Please note - this booking is for the virtual morning session only. The site visit to Plymouth has to be booked separately, and is limited to 30 people - see separate EventBrite booking page.
