The Arboricultural Association Scotland Branch presents:

Twin Line Working Workshop

Polkemmet Country Park, Whitburn, Bathgate EH47 0AD.

23rd of October 2021

Demonstrators: Alan McDowell, Matt Cooper

This workshop will be looking at the questions which arise from the requirement for twin line working, as driven by the work at height regulations and enforced by the HSE. We will be looking at how twin-line accessing and working can be applied in a practical way. The day will look at three areas, MRT (Moving rope technique), SRT (Single rope technique) and working on a pole.

The MRT station will looking at access, change overs and moving around the canopy and work positioning.

The SRT station looking at access, change overs and moving around the canopy and work positioning.

The Pole station will be looking at moving up a pole and change-overs.

The event will run from 10am to 3pm and includes tea/coffee on arrival and a light lunch.

Cost £10 per head for AA members and £15 per head for non-members.
