Mike I never took you for a troll before,
What’s all this animosity about?
Chain shrinkage?
Bent crankshafts?
Never knew you felt so strongly about them.
Or me ?

Saul its not about the animosity and having a go and all the rest of it,it,s just that you presumed it was the reason the crank shaft was bent(on the 361) you,ve no proof it was that, but also the way you went about telling the OP  about how to tension/detention and all the rest of it,you make it sound like it,s rocket science,i,m not up for arguing on this forum but i really don,t think what you,ve said on this occasion is right

I'm not trolling Saul, because I use my real name and link to my company.

I do have a problem with people making up bollocks and posting it as gospel.

Which you have done/ do.

I called you out, using my own name.

What’s my business called?…
How do you know my name?…
Ok you think you’re calling me out.
You think I’m intentionally lying and have done before.
Well Mike this may come as a shock to you,
It’s my opinion.

I don’t write gospel.

It’s an Internet forum with many different opinions.

But I can see why most arborists and companies don’t post on here.

Why?

Now you are saying that many will not post here because of what? Our inability to tolerate bullshit? You are beginning to resemble the fundamental snowflake who can never be wrong.

I know very little about chainsaws however I have to think that for a chain to shrink enough to bend a crankshaft it would have to be so tight to get so hot to do that that it would break something else first. Like the crappy screw tensioner or snap itself. The crank you saw probably bent due to knackered bearings.

I feel left out Saul!

Don’t let them get to you mate, you’ve a wealth of knowledge that (as you obviously know) I tap via WhatsApp.

Different writing styles via an Internet forum can easily be misconstrued. You keep your posts short (potentially from writing via your phone?) so your own opinion might come across as abrupt. Don’t stress it. :)
