There is makita sitting in my shed no spare parts, so i think we shuold forget about them, sadly.

I ordered makita parts  from germany, (using google translate)  as was both cheaper and more part available than UK. Brexit has messed that up though.

 

 

 

Think  parts are still suppose to be available for few yrs after thay stop making them....

I am liking my new Stihl ms400c with 20” bar. A bit more weight than my old ms260 with 16” bar but much lighter than ms660 with the 36” or 25” bar. Magnesium piston gives the 400 more displacement than the 362 but only an extra 100 grams weight

For professional use maximum w8 time is 1 day, and one call for that, otherwise its a hobby stuff, if you need to w8 something for weeks its unacceptable.

Ordered a new oil pump and pipes for my 7300p from Alan Watkins in Darlington 3 days from Makita all good. I picked up but they will post . Astonished at the speed the parts were available[emoji2][emoji2]

Sadly its not a reality here in Ireland, and if you getting something for 5 plus 20 delivery thats not funny as well😕
