Hi Saul,
How do you dispense out of the 55's.
Is there some  pump or tap you use to fill a combi?

Cheers
Bob

Hi Bob,
Yes, we’ve tried all the cheap options too.
Syphon pipe, syphon pipe with valve, squeezey hand pump, push pull plastic jobby, and I’ve also tried tipping them into a funnel/half water bottle and direct into the combi can…🥲
Last week the push pull pump stuck.
£45 on a steel hand rotary pump.

I really need to move over, however the thought of rebuilding all my saws is not appealing, nor is funding my season of hand cutting when 6 or 7l a day is common.

I’ve heard various anecdotes…
Most say no problems, others have had leaks.
Personally I would imagine it depends on the condition of the hoses etc.
If they are old and cracked, probably needed changing anyway.
As for price, yes it’s twice the price of pump fuel, but what price for your health?
It’s about £10-£12 more a day for you.
I mill with 880/881’s all day most days.
We do about 5–10 litres a day depending on log size.

Aspen for me in all my saws, blower etc. Never had a a problem. Like others though, I’m fed up of the 5L drums.I had to take all mine to the recycling point recently….. there was a colossal amount! I was offered the motomix at £400 for 200L, how does that fair up against what other are paying?

That’s ridiculously cheap!!!
Is it real at that price?
