Oil setting

What do you guys recommend on the oil adjustment for an 18inch bar on a 500i?

I'm getting two tanks of fuel to one fill of oil at the moment on near minimum setting.

18" is not very long for a n 80cc saw . I would have thought that might be ok . Run it up with the tip of the bar on a fresh cut face or a bit of white paper and see what is coming off .

I try to use a minimum of 2/3 of a tank of oil to a tank of fuel. Anything over a 20 inch ish bar is flat out - oil is cheaper than bars
