sorry for not updating you sooner,  been busy recovering from pneumonia amongst other things..

but tomorrow is five weeks since I cut my finger and its been hard work,  made good progress at the start, looked clean and no sign of infection at 2 weeks..only for a nurse to put foam padding on my still open wound and during the next 5 days the foam padding  stuck to the wound and new tissue and  the nurse  pulled out all the healed tissue whilst  changing my dressing..this padding also rubbed the cut raw..

9 total visits to the hospital and 4 different Doctors,  few nurses amd a specialist later, I think 🤔...its finally getting to feel normal and look significantly better.

thanks all for the replies and any help...photos below are in order from most recent...ironically the bottom one is after two weeks healing,  and its obvious which photo was the one after the padding got stuck to it.. top photo is from today..
