Husky 450 bar gauge

Morning all.

This seems like a daft question but...is it possible to run 0.058 gauge bar on a 450? I've been running 346 XP's and considering an upgrade, but seems like 450 runs a 0.050 which would render a load of bars and chains I've got useless.

Cheers

As above but the wider kerf being cut with the 1.5 chain will sap more power from the 450 than the 1.3 so expect the performance to be slower. A full chisel will take more power than a semi.

If you have the B&C, try the 450 on the 346 cutting gear and see what it is like.

All the B&Cs should be 0.325" pitch.

Aye, they are all .325.

Ok good advice guys. Appreciate it.

And of course a 450 would be a downgrade 😉! Was there ever a finer saw than the 346?

Yes . A Spud ported 346 👍
