So I want to have a go at cutting cookies but never have so I am guessing that I just ratchet strap my butt to the mill on like a 45% and just cut them ,is that how everyone else does it as always keen to hear your thoughts.

I have to admit my butt has never been ratchet strapped but , whatever turns you on

My mate stubby went to our local florist.

"I'd like to buy some flowers for my wife" said Stubby.

"Certainly sir” the florist said “What is it you're after?"

"A blow job!" said Stubby. 🤭

In the Highlands, a Scot is walking beside the loch.

An English tourist approaches him. She asks " Is anything worn under your kilt ?"

"No, lassie..... It's all still in good working order

Only ever cut cookies with the Panther Chainsaw Mill.  Easy peasy once you had first cut level.

With mill, won't fixing/screwing it to a decent sized board and clamping the board work?

Yeh, Ive always just screwed the round to a board or two from below and/or from the side so you can straddle two bunks and so the log wont try and tip over. Then clamp the board to the bunks as per usual.

I dont think the Op is on about what most folk would consider cookies though, I think hes specifically after 'surf board' Slabs that have a ring of bark around them, ovals as some call them.
