Would have been an awesome option in the Amarok pick up.

It really would have been.

It's no worse on fuel than a Ranger 3.2TDCI but in standard form puts out more than 60% more power and torque.

That said, all these impressive old ICE engines will seem like sluggish, dirty dinosaurs in a few years with the electric takeover. I'm looking forward to 600bhp with the Rivian pickup :D

What MPG where you getting in it? Im getting an average of 25mpg in my 3l diesel.

Just checked out of curiosity on the ranger, mind you it’s not very often it’s not towing something.

I hit the heady heights of 27 before I left for Norway. I’m often pulling something as well, but I doubt it’s as often as yourself.

I figured you were asking J but just thought I’d look anyway bud. Big engine having a easy life is always better eh. Spoke to Ford dealer the other day and he was trying to steer me in the direction of a 2 litre 10 speed auto ranger 🤷‍♂️ figures are better than the 3.2 he said but I just can’t get my head around it.
That would suit me just fine, pref in a patrol but I’m not fussy lol.

A lad local to be buzzes around in a 90s Dodge Ram with the 5.9 Cummins in it. Hauls ass and still sounds amazing.

Think Id be giving the 2l a swerve as well.
