Me too.  The lack of respect that Volvo gets is nothing short of bullying; Alec you should be ashamed  😁

I think of it a bit like getting your children to sweep the chimney. They love it really 😄

What about 'Road liable to flooding'?  Surely should be 'Road liable to flood' or 'Road susceptible to flooding'.

Liable to flooding - its like saying 'Road likely to flooding'.  Or am I missing something?

Grammatically you are completely correct, and now you've pointed that out I'll never be able to see one of those signs without it irritating me!

There is one of those signs on the road at the end of our land. I will have to go down there with something to scrape off the 'ing'.

The strangest sign I ever saw was on a junction of two dirt roads in Australia, this junction was at least 30 miles from the nearest bit of tarmac. Any vehicle going down the track would have made headline news in a local paper if there was one.

Wide open space, no limit on vision etc etc.

The sign said "Stop". Not Give Way or anything like that, just Stop.

No idea why it was even there and a lot more people will read this post than ever read the sign.
