I have seen that before on the track . Target fixation they call it . Bloke gets it a bit wrong in a corner and runs out of road , the bike following does the same but has no real need to .

I've done it 😂. Terrible talebacks on the A30, going to Cornwall.  Fella darts off. I thought, he looks like he knows where he's going. Me and about 16 other vehicles followed him. He hadn't got a clue! Took us up a dead end track. Caravans having to back up and all sorts. Chaos! 😂

But why should those people take any more notice of a sign then a red light?

Probably cannot read anyway I

I think you may have missed my point, if a coach driver, (Professional Driver) can get it wrong in roadworks I'm sure Mr Miggins can also. Temporary works are signed and guarded for the hard of thinking. If I had a quid for every time I heard, "I didn't see the signs, lights" I'd never need to work again.

There are signs leading down to West Wittering beach , fcuking great big ones and quite a few of them . All saying beach fully booked up .  Still peeps drive on down there and are dismayed when they are turned away .

Doesn’t any driver know in any language that if you come across a set of traffic lights which are red, you do not go until they are green.  What difference does it make if they are temporary, three way , ten way, railway crossing or the one next to your wife’s pillow!
I reckon we've had about 10 cars end up in the middle of our sites because they said, we thought they were stuck on red. Fixed traffic lights at junctions no bother. Temporary.... Nearly classed as invisible as stop go boards. But I do take the greatest enjoyment of making them back up out of the site and then let the other direction go first to make the point. Makes a rainy wet cold winters day a little bit more enjoyable doing that.

A not real one. We were sat at a temporary light with "when red light shows wait here" and grand daughter said, " but it doesn't tell you what to do when the red light doesn't show"
