Accurate stump cuts.

Half the battle is in the saw, if it balances in the felling position on the front handle out of the cut and the bar and chain are in good order it should be easy.

 

The other half is the self belief, if you don't think it's going to cut where you want it to it will not (not relevant I would guess)

 

I wonder if the Cheetah Aluminium Company or whatever they call themselves these days could help you in your quest ? 😉

Check your bar rails are dead even, your saw wants even cutter length and your sharpen needs to be even both sides not more hooked or shallow one side.
Easily said but in theory there’s always one of these out of kilter affecting the pull , therefore resulting in wonky cuts
