Question

Hi, I am a newbie here>. Please forgive my ignorance. I have two trees in my back yard growing together in the same spot. I was wondering if is okay to let them grow like that touching each other or eventually one will die because of the other one. Also, I have no idea what kind of tree they are. I was wondering if you guys can help me identify them. Thank you so very much.

Thank you so much everyone. They are two different trees and they are growing together in the same spot. Do I need to separate them? Thanks.

It is used for hedging so no real need unless you want the separate .
