April is usually the last month for planting bare root stuff,maybe they,ve been in a cold storage but its very late

Remember years ago land owner make a mistake on grant form and landed up starting planting mid May and finished just before Bank Holiday. 

Was a bit like the weather we have just had cold and wet so they had a good start.
