Hi all, iv had my 576xp for quite a few years now but noticed the last year or so its getting what i can only describe as a turbo lag when i pull the trigger. When the chains up to speed theres no issue with running but if i pull the trigger from still it takes about 2-3 seconds, wheres as its usually instant/ 1 second. Iv changed the filters, fuel line and cleaned the carb. Iv tweeked the tuneing  but not made any difference..... any ideas what the issue coukd be??

Thanks

It’s running lean for some reason, when you hit the throttle there is a boost of air into the intake but if there is insufficient fuel then there is a lag, or even it could stall. All the reasons to run lean are.

Blocked fuel or carb screen

cracked or kinked fuel hose

incorrect carb settings

Air leaks

Worn or split diaphragms in the carb

Ok, back ti it’s running lean, re check the items I have named earlier, also check the impulse hose is connected and no split, after that pressure/ vac test is next, if it carries on running lean I could well seize next.
