So I was talking to my boss the other day and he asked if I wanted to do any training now lockdown is coming to an end. After I thought of it for a while and looked at a few courses I decided on my CS32 and also saw a course for a loler inspector. I spoke to my boss about this and he said I could do both if I wanted. I've been trying to look for some info on what insurance I would need to have when I have passed and if I would be able to test the climbing gear they use at work. I'm not a climber myself so I wouldn't be checking my own kit.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Guessing your employed as your boss is paying for it. In which case you need no insurance, that’s the bosses problem. If you are testing independently as your own business you will want professional indemnity insurance.
