BBC Gardeners World Show

Hi guys so I was contacted by a matey we know from doing shows asking me if I was interested in doing the Gardeners World show so he passes on my contact details so the woman rings me yesterday asking me if I wanted to do the show so I says yeah cool and then she says small business discount £800  I was shocked £800 to doa demo what a laugh she just could not see that it was them that should be paying me to do a demo or at least a free pitch ,cant start paying to demo what do you all think

So.... Gardeners World want you to do a performance for them and charge you 800squids ??? So how much did Tommy Walsh pay them ?? K

Prob paid him ,its a joke pay to do a demo I was a bit unprofessional and laughed down the phone at £800 just couldnt help myself .

Is that for a stand at a Gardeners’ World trade show, where you sell to the public? Surely not the tv programme?

Hi Steve it was a Chainsaw Carving Demo so yeah should have been paid or at the least a free stand never paid for a stand to do a Demo not even at the Bath and West Show

I fell for this in the early days 'the publicity will be really good for you' - yeh right!... But never was asked to pay to be there - that's really pushing it!
