A brilliant sunny warm forenoon yesterday, but turned britterly cold in the afternoon(13 deg, but with a biting Nth wind chill-factor), and upon opening the patio doors at 06:00 this, the longest day morning, me testicles were running for cover from the lazy Nth wind.

Brrrrr.

Yep, suncream and sitting outside past weeks, solar tubes giving blazing hot water. Then a sudden change,  cloud cover, East wind no hot water and the missus struck up the Aarrow stove.  Harmony restored in the house!

Yeah we lit the wee stove in the lounge last night as it got quite cold around early evening. I heave never burnt so much as I have this winter & spring.  Usually 15 cube a year, over 20 this last year. Thankfully I had the wood to burn, will really need to start laying in extra each year so there is no risk of running out.

I suspect I'll put the fire on today. It was very grey, raining and only up to 17.8c yesterday. Highs of 16 forecast today and the living room is down to 18c. It'd only take one stoking, but sub-20c just isn't pleasant.

Where is summer?
