Looking for an apprenticeship - Dorset

I'm currently working as a high ropes instructor but I'm interested in a change of career and becoming a tree climber/surgeon. I've seen a lot of apprenticeships towards London but I'm struggling to find anything closer to home. Could someone please give me some advise on how to get started in the industry, or maybe somewhere to ask about possible apprenticeships.

Thanks for the help.

Are you a long way from Bicton college? I know they have done apprenticeships.

Your best bet would be finding a company who is willing to take you on as an apprentice and then seeing where they would want you to train. I would imagine that your aerial background would stand you in better stead than most.

Good luck
