Oh believe me it's a sore trial, but I consider it an honour to be doing such a service to the whiskey ( and gin....and vodka) drinking community, ensuring it tastes good.
Have to do all sampling in the mornings to clear the blood before driving home.

I would just get a push bike if i where you, sounds like a dream job to me, 😂😂

Well I got the Highland Park 18 and found it pleasant but uninspiring . I also got the Irish Redbreast 15 . A little bit more fiery , ok .  Still can't beat the Aberlour 18 for me . Liquid Christmas pudding ! 👍😁

Highland Park i find is best with 1 ice cube and just leave it till its nearly melted, there must be 10 or a dozen bottles in our shoot shed,

Can’t drink scotch, too peaty.
A nice Irish whisky is my prefered.
But I’m a brandy man over whisky.
Hennessy fin, or very aged eau de vie.emoji106.png

I've never come across a Scottish whisky that I would describe as too peaty.

With a few exceptions, I just stick to Islay single malts. Everything else is too sickly sweet. Ardbeg Uigeadail is my first choice these days. Laphroaig Quarter Cask my second.

I actually find Speyside whiskies pretty nauseating. A friend described them once as 'breakfast whiskies', as in you'd have them with your cornflakes :D

Aberlour  18 is  Speyside and a bit peaty but there is so much else going on . Hellishly expensive breakfast if you put it on your cornflakes ! 😁
