Climbing chainsaws

Recommended Posts

Alright guys. Whats everyone's go to saw when climbing. I use a MS 201T. Been seeing lately people using Echo Cs2511tes. Tanakas, makitas, and then also Stiga and Mitox.

Just interested in everyone's thought.

Cheers and stay safe.

Used the Stiga and Tanaka, both good and cheaper than Stihl. See who yr nearest dealer is next step. K

Bro that's wicked. Damn i bet that 2511 rips. And yeah a 201 has 2hp. However I've got mine running a little more than that. Exhaust modification and advanced the timing. I've always been big into Stihls. Really good getting guidance/information off other climbers 👍👍
