So next on the mill is this Walnut my question is would you cut the kinked end off or try and get it on the mill as is

Thanks Mark DSC_0901.jpegDSC_0900.jpeg

Couple of times I’ve had to take a second bite on a cut at a log with a bend in it after moving it to allow posts past. Bit of a hassle to re level but often worth it.

Cost me £50 and £100 to get it moved

I quoted on a small walnut removal recently.
Only 6’ trunk about 20” the rest was a lots of thin branches.
Feeling generous, I told him I’d knock £200 off for the stem. (Way too much).
From the £600 it would cost to remove it.
Guy says it’s too much.
I tell him no problem and leave.
Now I’m getting photos of the same walnut from local tree surgeons I know asking the price of the trunk.
Client wants the job done for the trunk....
Oh that highly valuable black walnut....
🤣🤣🤣[emoji106]
