At work today

Recommended Posts

Had some difficulty getting home from walking the dogs after work yesterday as there was a few road closures around. Strange, there wasn't the usual information signs posted in advance and the traffic management was very basic, just some hi-vis coats and cones, although a lot of private cars parked on verges with people milling around.

Discovered today why it was all low key, Harrison Ford was there filming scenes for the new Indiana Jones movie

Harrison Ford spotted filming for new film in the Scottish Borders...

I quoted a job for hugh bonneville a few years back, had no idea who he was.

I've just looked him up, still don't recognise him. Isn't ignorance bliss?

7.30 this morning get a call to say theres a tree down just up the road and cars can,t get through,so go have a look and it,s a big limb off neighbours ash tree,so cut it up enough to let traffic through, called on the neighbour to let him know, he,s grateful and he will sort it later on.Just been out in garden watering and heard a saw going, went to have a look, now he,s a bit of a posh lad with a very good education, but obviously not that well educated as he,s using his chainsaw, which is blunt,in a pair of fu&&ing shorts and trainers:cursing:.Thinks it,s ok cos only a small chainsaw:cursing:

Beautiful. After watching country file and Chris Packham (whom I can’t stand) the other week I have stopped mowing about half my lawn ( good for biodiversity). Apart from saving a lot of time, all the flowers are up including the various orchids. Wish I’d done it years ago
