NPTC Certificate of Competence in the Thorough Examination of Arboricultural Equipment (LOLER)

Course Information

This qualification is specifically for those who inspect lifting equipment in the arboriculture industry. The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 require that all lifting equipment is subject to a regular thorough inspection by a competent person.

The course will cover the Inspection of a range of arboricultural rigging equipment to prove competence in recognising faults and various loads and limits involved with arboricultural rigging equipment. It also covers legislation and terminology.
A written exam and independent assessment are included.
