Trying to clear that elusive piece of small diameter branch that gets stuck parallel with the blades/drum (left after not clearing the shute from an earlier session ) that stops you pull-starting the engine...

This was before we realised that we could undo 2 bolts to pivot the shute.

Just read one of the posts about how to get a short piece of wood out of the knife area :-) , and I realised that although this doesn't happen very often we do have an easy solution for that:

All Haecksler wood chippers are equipped with a special drum-key for turning the drum counter-clockwise without having to open up anything. By turning the piece of wood or branch comes back into the feeding chute and you can start up again

We have been testing our new modell with all possible branches and other material. Although this is our 'biggest' compact wood chipper sofar, it's as always designed for fast chipping at the tree site.

Have a look if you'd like to, I
.

Got my wee chipper for sale here in arbtrader. JoBeau M400. After reading the above on obstruction, my M400 as the quick release collar fitted to the discharge shoot. 2 clips it just lifts off and easy cleared. The hopper is 2 bolts and that also can be lifted to clear any obstruction quickly.

I've gone through phases of dislike with my wee chipper setup due to niggly little issues with the chipper but now I have got on top of them I couldn't really be happier with it at the moment. The m500 is a blinding little chipper that punches above its weight and got some really good chip capacity with 4 cube in the trailer and a further 2.5 cube in the truck if required and best of all...it's all legal on weight :D. What's everyone else's wee chipper setup? 1c4e2904a19c0534bb5d77f441fc5444.jpg

Really like that set up for the trailer/m500. I was thinking of making a tow bar mount for my m200 to go on the back of a transit tipper. I do quite a bit of road side basal growth. Super handy to be able to stop in a normal space, jump out, quick prune, chip a handful of branches and away again.

Not a bad idea to be honest. My idea basically came out of the need for chip capacity as when I started out I only had a suzuki jimny however I quickly outgrew it understandably due to the weight when loaded. My only suggestion would be to try and design something that can be removed easily as it'll be a real pita to get tipped otherwise
