Hi so I have been looking for a small 12inch planner thicknesser for a while I only have £350/400 to spend on one and just cant seem to find one on ebay there are loads of ads for this Lumberjack stuff anybody had any used anything by them I was thinking about maybe getting one of their planner thicknessers

Few cheap items on gumtree. I use the Makita planer thicknesser and it has served me very well

I've got one of the 300mm Triton ones from Screwfix and others. I've never used anything like this before but it seems pretty good to me and had good reviews when I looked into it. I've just got some new blades from China, so hopefully they'll be right as seasoned oak definitely dulls them!
