Self Propelled Stump Grinder Advice

CHTS Ltd

Recommended Posts

We are currently looking to upgrade our pedestrian stump grinder and would like to hear of peoples experiences with different self propelled machines.

We currently run a Rayco RG13 but have been experiencing a lot of issues with it at the end of its useable life.

We are looking for recommendations and reviews regarding self propelled machines. We are considering the Rayco RG25HD, Predator 460 Hybrid or Carlton SP2010.

All help and advice would be welcomed!

second the fsib22. less power ( 14hp vs 24hp or so) than a predator but 100x better build.

I was sceptical of the power ( or lack off) but has proved faultless and more than capable.

I also always had to measure the width of r access for the 460, never needed to once in the last 2 yrs or so with the fsi

HB20 is good but very large in comparison.
