Thanks for the add guys, I appreciate it.

Looking to do some milling for a couple of projects we have on, mainly beams and posts, but not exclusively.

Is there anything other than the logosol like it? Anyone used one for larger timbers?

Anyone have one they want to move on?

Regards Chris

I’ve put a 1.5+ton log on my F2+,
Did have to build a reinforced table inside the frame though.
Wouldn’t want to do it regularly.
They’re really good at logs up to about 20-24”
Depending what you can move, lift and flip.
I mill a lot of 10”-20” hardwood, mainly oak, yew etc on the F2+.
Quick and simple, great results.
Have a look on the today’s milling thread, got some photos of it.

A timely post, you beat me to it as I was also looking a adding one of these to my inventory.

How does the older m7m8 differ from the newer f2's?

More or less the exact same thing to be honest.I have used the f2 also and apart from colour i could not tell the difference.Bought mine off one of the lads on here back in april but its just not been used as i have the bandsaw mill. I would stick to a ton log and max it at 24" but roughy goes a lot bigger on his.
