Stihl BG86 bogging down

I wonder if anyone can help with this!?
I’ve got 2 SH86 blowers (basically a BG86). They both have problems.

Blower 1.

struggled to get it started and bogs down like it’s run out of fuel. I’ve changed the carb, spark plug, air filter and fuel filter. Now starts ok but is still bogging down like it’s out of fuel (there is new fuel in it). What could it be please? I’ve tried everything and could really use some advice.

blower 2

this is my old blower that I thought had died when it made a noise like an angle grinder and came to a halt and then couldn’t pull the cord. After a year of it sitting in the lockup i came across a video explaining that sometimes a screw can come loose and restrict the fan wheel. I’ve put the screw back in and now the pull cord works but I can’t get it fired up. I’ve tried a new plug, new fuel and air filter and still nothing. It back fires after pulling about 10 times but still nothing.

any advice would be much appreciated.

cheers

Tom
