Shit!  That looks hard core ! Bigger than mine   ?  only concern would be bark damage if yr throwing out on branches.  Leave it handy in cab fr boy racers cutting you up too  ?  K

Yea, agreed. If I wanted something softer I would have gone for one of those fancy DMM hooks but I can't bring myself to spend £100 on something that's not life support ? I'll only be using it on takedowns or branches that are coming off. There's a part of me that wants to put it on the landy winch and test it but the other part of me knows it's going to join me in the cab at about 100,000Mph ?

@Khriss my Chinese delight arrived. Actually surprisingly good. Locks open and closed. I'm going to have to attack it with a file though because it's furiously sharp ?DSC_0204.thumb.JPG.4603306963b6db3cb6998eec56077692.JPGDSC_0205.thumb.JPG.3488cbce88c88c34c9a8ef7c581a4f4e.JPG

That's annoying, I take it it was a write off? I just attacked it with a mini belt sander and took all the sharp edges and most of the serrations off. I couldn't find one that was smooth and well designed or I would have gone with that!
