Copper Beech fungus

Recommended Posts

Hi there, could anyone please identify this fungus that has sprouted at the base of my dead copper beech tree. They are flexible and dry and doesn’t break when I bent it. Should remove them, leave them, will they grow all over the tree?
The tree died during the very dry summer if 2018, this year I planted a passion fruit plant (which is what you can see). Cheers
