When I was 22 I worked in a specialist kite shop.
The previous week to me starting bbc2 had done a 30 minute documentary on kite surfing.
Everyday a middle aged plump balding chap would walk into the shop and say” I’ve seen this program on TV, I’d like to buy all the gear please”.
Now this created the same problem.
Hand over £2k of sales to a guy who’s going to F**k up first time he goes out, potentially fatally.
So eventually the bosses offered incredibly expensive training lessons.
Booked for months in advance.

Cheers all for taking the time to write the feedback, advice, kind words. It means a lot!

 

Again it's nice to know people do watch the vids and get something from them and of course I don't see or hear from the people that do this.

 

Our plan is to keep sticking to what we do and although we're in it for the £ it doesn't have to be about the £ all of the time.

 

I reckon at some point in the future it would be good to offer courses of some sort but right now it's on with the [youtube] show.

I brought my mill from you not a eBay cheapo jobie because of the youtube vids - this guy uses what he sells and knows what he is talking about.
Since then all my bars and all (small amount for fun) my milling kit come from you.
