Shout if you need a hand pricing up sawn timber orders, I will knock up a thread :001_smile:

 

shout!!:biggrin:i have no knowledge on timber values and uses, i also dont have a mill or shed to store it in, but if the money was right i soon could :thumbup1:i would much rather use it than firewood it

Larch is lovely stuff to mill. Milled a whole load last year for a roof had a man come in and grade the whole lot, i think it was 99% C24 SS grade and 1% C24 GS. Nearly 200 bits in all from 8x6 to 15x6. That was all Hybrid stuff.

 

As long as you keep it off the ground it doesn't rot and unlike pines it doesn't stain. There is a couple of ads in the back of the Forestry Journal for people wanting Larch.
