So my old (2012) predator 38x went to the shop a few weeks back, only to be told that the engine is PROBABLY knackered. They gave an indicative quote of around 4k for them to source and replace the Kohler.

So does anybody here want a project and happen to have a Kohler sitting in their garage, and at what sort of price to sell?? Or do I find a cheap Kohler (much around?) And try to get it going?

For once keep your nose out as you are not qualified musch. This is not talk radio musch

Look I hadn't read johns post when I posted, he's said it cost £1750 and a day and a bits labour. Explain how that gets to £4K even if you had to get someone in to do it.
