And therein lies the greatest weakness of tick-box mentality - seeking out and blindly following a generic ‘template’ in the misguided belief that it provides some form of compliance / protection / good practice rather than actually, properly assessing the task specific hazards, and taking measures to mitigate them, is a journey in the fast lane to nugatory effort.

You also missed out that it is a dynamic process,  including a lot more on discovery than you might like. K
