Hmm it doesn’t appear to be full 4x4! Also its pretty much like crafters apparently but would of like to see if anyone owns one and what their like. I suppose they only started doing small vans 2017 so probably still early days.

I believe it's similar to the VW haldex system, It's 2wd until the front slips and it then uses 4wd and puts the torque to the wheels in a ratio to the grip they are getting, bloody expensive if it goes wrong I would think, I have it on my transporter and have only had it come in a few times.

I got talking to a chap who knows his transmission  stuff. He reports that when getting anything like a VW dsg box or Haldex transfer box,  check for honest service receipts and history of expensive oil purchase. Good, strong units but cheap people tend to economise and then they go wrong!

MAN are owned by Volkswagen so you’ll see pretty much a lot if not all of the Crafter characteristics.

Will that include dodgey wiring too? My brothers crafter box van and mates crafter tipper have been a nightmare with intermittent electrical faults!
