Hello.  I'm working on a documentary, and a section of the story covers the subject's relationship with his mother, and him working to understand her through a painting she left for him.  As you can see in the image, it's a painting of trees, and I suspect there's insight to be gained from the species of tree she chose.

Is it possible for someone to identify what's been depicted?
I'm guessing this question is out of the ordinary for this forum!
