Titan vertical 3kw electric splitter help!

My log splitter has been faultless until today. I get arb waste and use an electric chainsaw for my own use in a large farm house. I started it up today first time since lockdown and all was going fine until I stopped to move some logs. When I switched it on again it sounded as though the motor was jammed and then it stopped. After moving all the logs in the way I changed the fuse. tried it again but switched off immediately as it sounded jammed still. wondered whether it had a belt drive behind the guard  but as you can see there is a hydraulic motor coupled directly to the motor. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Should the level be checked with the cap screwed in or screwed out and just resting in?

The distance the cap moves from off to down tight will be less than the low / high limit I would have thought so no .

It is on the low line screwed out but not below.  I would not have expected the motor to cease though

No , sounds more of a mechanical thing from your description . Sorry I can't be much help . Both my splitters are petrol .

If it blew the fuse my first move would be to unbolt the hydraulic motor from the electric motor and see if the electric motor would spin, without disconnecting any hydraulic pipes if possible.

Yes that was my next move but could be later in the week now
