Dewalt Blower

Morning all,

 

Has anyone by any chance used one of these little 18v Dewalt blowers?

 

I run cordless Dewalt gear, so have the batteries to chop and change between the various items. I know it’s not a massive outlay for it, but it seems compact and handy for just blowing crap off the Logbullet and cleaning out the cab in the Shogun etc. I’ve got grease gun, Impact driver, drill and angle grinder and dead happy with them all.

Tends to make a bit of a mess in the living room I find though.

its the flexvolt one DCM 572, more powerfull than mains.

Am I able to run it off my 18v batteries? I have 3 different ones that I chop and change between tools.

no, you would have to use the lower power 18v one. Get the flexvolt and a 6ah flexvolt batt, you can use the batt on your other tools.

Cool. Just looking now, 6ah battery going for about £100 on eBay.

Actually, it gets quite pricey once you start adding it up. Might be better with a petrol one at these figures!

I looked into cordless blowers and the blow power is  lower than petrol and seemed battery life was very low as it seem to be something that uses up alot of juice.

 

(More so than say a cordless chainsaw or hegde trimmer.)
