Question

We are homeowners in Carver County Minnesota and came upon some evergreens at a park in nearby Chaska Minnesota which we think would be great for our yard. Haven’t found anything online that seems to match the shape- looks like an arborvitae but wider and shorter than varieties normally seen. See attached photos. Any guidance greatly appreciated!

You may be better off asking on an American forum for more local knowledge, as this is a UK based site.

ARBORISTSITE.COM

Arboristsite.com is the largest Arborist, Chainsaw and firewood processing site on the internet.

 This is the American equivalent to Arbtalk.

 

having said that, I believe it might be thuja plicata
