New Pole climbing forum

Hi Guys and Girls Hope you like the new Pole climbing forum . I will post up pole climbing comp dates and anything Pole related . I am keen to see pole climbing grow in the UK so this new forum is a great place for anyone into pole climbing to hang out and chat and get info on all the events kit and spikes etc.

Thats great you will love it . the first comp is Apirl 24th/25th at the UK Game Fair in East Anglia . The poles are not the very big ones like in Newbuy but they are I belive 11m tall utility poles but good fun anyway everone welcome .

I should be going to that one too.

Actually, that was Mr. Barto, Brian's father, who has been performing his clown acts for ages at logging shows.

 

 

Here's Brian, who's perennially the fastest in the world, US style, which is on the 90 foot pole, up AND down, with no belay. Current record is around 20 seconds.

I think that someone posted a video of the clown act on here somewhere. He drops his spikes and acts like hes drunk if I remember rightly.
