Anyone have any thoughts on the best way to estimate volume of a large pile of split loose thrown firewood?

Half base length times height times length  for low estimate

PI times height squared times length times 0.5 for high estimate

Thats the kind of thing I was looking for. Lets hope its closer to the high estimate, but gives me something to work with. Thanks.

Hi Paddy, how do you find the Wallenstein? What model is it, looks like a 540?

Is that a 1-hand operation conversion I can see?

Thx

Craig

Yeh its a 540, its good. Im in Canada, so they are standard 1 hand operation, dunno how they are sold elsewhere?
