Less than 6 months old has been babied the whole time use my 201s for most stuff. Heard it's a known issue  they should fix/discontinue it!! imagine if it had took a finger. Who beds a bar stud into plastic? Bloody stupid design wasted a good 10 minutes of work time cleaning me hand up!!

Piss poor show i'd say as bar studs need to be pretty secure as getting undo at other end frequently and under fair bit of stress.

Yep and as it's a know issue you would think there would be a recall or redesign but it seems if you have a problem they "fix" it by adding a foil sleeve for the bar stud to screw into....no thanks very much I'll go back to stihl

How would it go on if it had taken your hand off? or had injured someone else due to bar coming adrift like if you dropped it from height?

I'd take it up with H&SE/Trading standards etc as they sniff round phone chargers like a crack addict going on about no Earth! when they are double earthed anyway so none have an earthing pin! yet they scream and shout so should do something about this instead

I'm very very glad it didn't do any real damage. In all honesty putting this up in the forum as a warning to others  is as far as I'll take it. paperwork, emails finding E-receipts is all a bit bothersome,. I will have forgot by tomorrow and will definitely have forgot by tuesday when my stihl 151 turns up.
