pto question

Is there a male to male 8 spline adapter in a housed bearing bracket that I can buy anywhere. Been looking but no luck yet. Maybe its something that will have to be fabricated at home?

I want to run a shaft from the tractor to said adapter which i want to set in the center of a 3 point linkage pallet toes, which in turn will carry a pto pumped log splitter (currently a 3 point hitch mounted type) and that will connect on the to the pallet toes with a second shaft. The idea being I can quickly disconnect splitter pto shaft and use the pallet toes for other duties. A longer shaft from splitter to tractor through the pallet toe frame will not work unfortunately.

So you use a linkage mounted PTO driven splitter but also need to move timber to and away from the splitter using 3pt linkage mounted pallet toes on the same tractor, in this case for your MF 35/35x would an "A" frame Quick hitch on the linkage not work?

go to your nearest agricultural dealer, explain what you want, and he will be able to provide 6 spline to straight adaptors, these normally have a length of 1 1/8" straight ( depends on which supplier  how long this is, pillow lock bearings are available of e-bay, as are shaft couplers, a little bit of cobbling together and you have your shaft extension, Ive done similar on several occasions to power various things off the pto
